Our Cardio-respiratory therapy department provides respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients with breathing difficulties.

Services available include electrocardiograms (EKG's) to diagnose heart-related problems, treadmill (cardiac stress testing), holter monitor, pulmonary function studies, and oxygen therapy. (main)

Perry Memorial Hospital provides 24-hour emergency service. Our emergency department is staffed to handle cases spanning from minor emergencies to major trauma, cardiovascular illness, orthopedic injuries, pediatric patients, and ear, nose, and throat emergencies.

Emergency care personnel are trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). For any emergency that requires outside specialization, a helipad is located on-site to facilitate immediate transport. (main)

Many people recover at a much more rapid rate when they do so in the privacy and familiar surroundings of their own home. Under the direction of a physician, post-hospitalization care and ongoing support are provided by Perry Memorial Home Health. Some of the services include respiratory therapy and physical, occupational and speech therapy.

Referrals may be made by physicians, nurses, families, or clients themselves with a doctor's order. Perry Memorial Home Health is a Medicare certified agency, dedicated to serving Perry, Oklahoma, Noble County and the surrounding areas. (main)

A dedicated mammography suite provides breast cancer detection services for women, including screening and diagnostic imaging. The Perry Memorial Hospital radiology team consists of board-certified radiologists who are medical doctors uniquely qualified to interpret diagnostic images, and technical staff, made up of registered technologists with mammography certification. 	Physicians representing various specialties, a full-time certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA), registered nurses and surgical technicians make up our highly trained surgical team. Using state-of-the-art technology, a variety of surgical procedures are performed including laparoscopic surgery, arthroscopy, and cataract surgery. 	Rehabilitation
	Rehabilitation services provide a wide variety of physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to assist patients with their functional needs. Perry Memorial Hospital's rehabilitation department is fully staffed with highly trained licensed physical and occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists. We offer comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and home health services. Rehabilitation services include: Physical Therapy - Physical Therapists (PT) work to restore motion and strength in an affected limb or trunk. PT's maximize functional ability by retraining for activities such as walking, running, dressing, and working or returning to sports. They will reduce pain by using modalities, manual therapy, mobilization, and appropriate exercises. Physical Therapists also provide extensive education regarding injury prevention and wellness. Occupational Therapy - Occupational Therapist's (OT) work to improve activities of daily living by restoring mobility and strength. The OT recommends adaptive equipment to promote independence in cooking, dressing, bathing, grooming, and many other activities of daily living. OT's also assess home and work environments for safety and make recommendations for adaptations to increase safety and independence. Speech Therapy - Speech Language Pathologist's (SLP) will work to improve speech production/articulation, receptive and expressive communication, as well as writing skills. Speech therapy also addresses deficits in swallowing function. Recommendations for exercises, changes in food texture and thickness of liquid as well as compensatory techniques to decrease a patient's chances of aspiration are made. The speech therapist is also able to help a patient's cognitive skills in problem - solving, reasoning, memory and other areas of cognition to increase functional independence. (main)
